Compare text, JSON & XML in your browser

Spot exactly what changed between two versions. Paste an original and a modified text and the diff checker highlights additions and removals line by line, with inline character- or word-level highlighting inside changed lines. Switch between a side-by-side view and a unified, git-style view; long runs of unchanged lines collapse into hunks so the differences stay in focus.

In Auto mode it detects JSON and XML and normalizes both sides before diffing, so reordered formatting does not show up as noise. Everything runs 100% client-side — nothing you paste is uploaded, saved, or indexed. It is free, needs no account, and works offline once loaded.

Is my text sent to a server?

No. The comparison runs entirely in your browser. Unlike share-link diff tools, there is no public URL that could be indexed or leaked.
